DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes High School is planning to host an outdoor graduation for Seniors this spring.
Superintendent Mark Jenson is hopeful that spectators will be allowed at the graduation ceremony this year, “the high school is planning an outdoor graduation, which would then allow us a lot more freedom in terms of who could come.”
Last year’s graduation ceremony occurred more than a month after classes ended (June 28, 2020) and was held on the high school’s football field without spectators.
This year’s graduation ceremony will likely again occur on the football field and is scheduled for May 29, 2021.
