Body found in abandoned St. Cloud parking lot Monday

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in an abandoned parking lot in St. Cloud on Monday morning.

On Sept. 25 at about 8:30 a.m., officers were called to a property on the 4100 block of 2nd Street South. 

Upon arrival, officers said they discovered the body of a 68-year-old man from Rice, Minn. 

His name has not been released pending family notification

According to a news release. Officers said there were no signs of trauma and doesn’t appear to be any indications of foul play.

The case remains under an active investigation.
