PERHAM (KDLM) – The coronavirus pandemic drove many Minnesota residents outdoors to go ice fishing this winter and now two Lakes Area men want to capitalize on the enthusiasm by creating a summer fishing league.
If there’s enough interest, the all species fishing league would fish multiple Lakes Area lakes within a 25 mile radius of the Perham area once or twice a week.
The creators of the league say this won’t be just another walleye league, the intention is “to encourage people to get out and fish and to have fun”.
If you have any interest in the league you’re encouraged to call Josh Vanderbeek at 218-639-4950
