Battle Lake woman injured in Ottertail single-vehicle crash

Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – A Battle Lake woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Ottertail on Thursday.

On Aug. 24 at 11:21 a.m., a 2022 Toyota RAV4, driven by 49-year-old Leslie Christine Anderson of Battle Lake, left the roadway at County Road 1 and Daisy Road in Ottertail.

The SUV struck a road sign, a nearby building, and then crossed the road and struck a tree.

Anderson suffered minor leg and facial injuries, and was transported to Perham Health for treatment.

Anderson was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and law enforcement believes alcohol may have played a role in the incident.

The crash remains under an active investigation.
