Detroit Lakes, Minn (KDLM) – It was an exciting day on the golf course for Detroit Lakes’ Nick Christenson two weeks ago.
At the August 18th 2023 KDLM Laker Open, presented by Team Lab, Christenson hit a hole-in-one on the 290-yard, Par 4 7th Hole at the Detroit Country Club.
“Hole Seven goes up the hill, it landed on the fringe and kicked up towards the hole then disappeared over a ridge,” Christenson told KDLM.” We knew it was going to be close so we celebrated on the tee. Then we get up there and we don’t see it. My buddy Joey checks the hole and goes nuts! Then we all went nuts!”
It was Christenson’s first-ever hole-in-one.
