DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The next Community Conversation, part of a series that launched in Detroit Lakes in January will be held on Thursday at 7pm.
The series is a partnership with Detroit Lakes Public Library, Becker County Museum, and the Holmes Theatre. Each virtual conversation features experts in their field and an opportunity for community members to ask questions and be part of the conversation.
Rachel Hofstrand, Marketing Director at the Historic Holmes Theatre says the series will focus on hot topics within the area, “The aim is to build community through discussing these hot topics.”
The featured speaker on Thursday is Erin Maye Quade, Advocacy Director at Gender Justice, who will be presenting on gender equity.
