Patriot House Fish House Back for 4th Year

The Patriot House program allows military veterans, law enforcement, first responders and their families an opportunity to fish at no cost.

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Patriot House fish house is back for its fourth year.

The Patriot House program allows military veterans, law enforcement, first responders and their families an opportunity to fish at no cost. The Ice Castle fish houses are supplied with donated fishing gear, bait and propane in the Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids area from December through February.

David Morse, CEO of American Heroes Outdoor TV says two houses will be available in the Detroit Lakes area this year, “The Park Rapids fish house will be on Fishhook Lake, in Detroit Lakes will move them around Little Detroit Lake, Melissa…groups can fish from 8:30am to 4:30pm.”
