Detroit Lakes city council to hold hearing for 2023 gutter, approach and sidewalk repair; 80 projects total more than $273,000

Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes City Council will be holding a public hearing during their meeting tonight concerning 2023 curb, gutter, concrete approaches and sidewalk repairs.

In total, 80 different locations have been singled-out for repairs this year, totaling more than $273,000 in costs.

Property owners included on the repairs list will have an opportunity to make public comments to the city council before members vote on the measure.

In most cases, the city and the homeowner will split the cost of the repairs 50/50.

The public hearing will be held at the start of the city council on Tuesday night at 5 p.m. on the third floor of the Becker County Courthouse.
