Detroit Lakes , MN (KDLM) – The annual June Jubilee festival is officially kicking-off summer in Wadena on June 9-10.
The festival, hosted by the Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce, will get underway on Friday at 7:30 a.m. with the Town and Country Breakfast at The Depot and will immediately by followed by an arts and crafts vendor show at Burlington Northern Park at 9 a.m.
Food and activities will be held throughout the day, including a golf scramble at Whitetail Run Golf Course and a Wadena VFW-hosted hamburger fry in the park on Friday evening.
Nashville country star Aaron Simmons will perform in the park on Friday night beginning at 8 p.m.
Saturday at the June Jubilee, attendees will have a medallion to hunt beginning a 10 a.m. at The Depot with clues being released every hour until the medallion is found.
The grand parade of the Jubilee will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening.
