Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – Two drug overdoses were reported in Becker County over the Memorial Day weekend.
On May 26 at 6:20 a.m., emergency dispatchers received a report of a possible drug overdose on the 28000 block of Waboose Drive in Ponsford.
Upon arrival, first responders administered two doses of Narcan to a female party suffering from an apparent overdose of an unknown drug.
She responded positively and declined further medical treatment.
On Saturday, May 27 at 9:48 p.m., emergency dispatchers received a report of a drug overdose on the 39000 block of County Road 34 in Ogema.
Upon arrival, first responders administered two doses of Narcan to a 25-year-old White Earth man, who responded positively.
The man also declined further medical treatment.
