Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 59 in Otter Tail County on Friday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on May 26 at 11:33 p.m., emergency dispatchers were alerted to a crash with injuries occurring in Buse Township on the Interstate 94 and Highway 59 freeway overpass.
A 2006 Chevy Cobalt, driven by 17-year-oldĀ IssacĀ James Brunn of Fergus Falls, was southbound on Highway 59 crossing the overpass when a 2019 Toyota Tacoma was attempting to make a left turn onto the interstate on-ramp when the two-vehicles collided.
The Toyota Tacoma had four vehicle occupants, one of whom was 58-year-old Brooklyn Park woman, Tong Yang.
Yang suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the crash and was transported to Fergus Falls Hospital.
Alcohol is not believed to have been a contributing factor in the crash.
All vehicle occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision and no other injuries were reported at the scene.
