Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – A 22-year-old women was rescued by some good Samaritans and members of the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office after her vehicle left the roadway and entered Mississippi River just north of Brainard on Tuesday.
At 3:22 p.m., first responders were dispatched to an area of unincorporated territory where the river widens into nearby Rice Lake.

The woman was treated by EMS personnel on-scene.
