NISSWA, MINN (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes Trap Shooting team won the MidState Conference at the Lakeshore Conservation Club in Nisswa on Wednesday, May 10th. The Lakers hit 467 out of 500 targets that afternoon, giving them a six-point victory over second-place Park Rapids.
Carter Haverkamp was High Gun for the afternoon, hitting 99 of 100 birds to make the All-Conference team. Cameron Ackers hit 93 of 100 and was also named All-Conference. Kira Wolf (92/100), Carter Becker (92/100), and James Schattschneider (91/100) earned All-Conference Honorable Mention.
