Lakes Chic Street Fashion show highlights local boutiques, spring and summer fashions in Detroit Lakes

Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – The flash bulbs, spring and summer fashions, and Berry Chic mimosas filled the air at Bucks Mill Brewery on May 13, as the Lakes Chic Street Fashion Show presented 44 high fashioned ensembles for their second annual event.

Tracy Erb, owner of Vintage ‘N Vogue in Detroit Lakes, said the event is a wonderful collaborative with many of the businesses in downtown Detroit Lakes.

She also said she started noticing a trend in the spring and summer presentations from the apparel retailers.

“I feel like anything goes,” said Erb. “It’s driven by personality. You can just be really playful and have fun with it. You can mix dressy with casual and short with long and all the colors and prints, so it’s very fun. It’s very creative.”
