Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – A man was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and first-degree property damage following a stabbing in Beltrami County.
According to a Beltrami County news release, in the early morning hours of May 7, 28-year-old Joshua Lee Beaulieu (Bow-Lou) reportedly stabbed a man near the 5000 block of Theater Lane in Eckles Township.
Witnesses also told investigators that Beaulieu was chasing additional people and attempting to break the windows of multiple vehicles before they arrived.
The victim was transported to a nearby Sanford Hospital and treated for facial lacerations that appeared to be non-life-threatening.
Beaulieu remains in custody at the Beltrami County jail.
