West Lake Drive closed to thru-traffic beginning May 3

Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – West Lake Drive, between Legion Road and County Road 6, will closed to thru traffic beginning Wednesday morning.

In a post to the city’s Facebook page, the construction update stated a detour will be posted for thru traffic and the closure will be similar to the one experienced last fall for construction and local traffic.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and construction teams are expected to finish the West Lake Drive phase one project at some point this summer.
