Everclear Announced As Friday Night Bash On The Beach Headliner

Detroit Lakes, Minn (KDLM) – One month after announcing that Craig Morgan would headline the Saturday night Bash on the Beach show this coming July, the Detroit Lakes Jaycees have revealed their Friday night headliner.

Everclear, the 90s alt-rock band known for hits like Santa Monica and Father of Mine, will take the stage on the Detroit Lakes City Beach at 7:00 on July 21st.

The original 1993 release of the band’s World of Noise album, paired with the band’s significant efforts to break into college radio, attracted the attention of major labels, including Capitol Records, which signed the group soon after. Thus began Everclear’s major-label career, beginning with 1994’s Sparkle and Fade, and its massive hit, “Santa Monica.”

Since then, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career by any measure, spanning 11 studio releases, including four that have been certified Gold or Platinum, selling over 6 million records, and achieving 12 Top 40 Hit Singles on Mainstream Rock, Alternative, and Adult Top 40 radio, as well as numerous videos, thousands of shows and various other accolades, including a 1998 Grammy nomination.

Everclear celebrated its 30th-anniversary tour in 2022.
