Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes Public Library is celebrating Earth Day next weekend. On Saturday, April 22, the library will partner with community organizations to share information and offer hands-on learning activities for all ages and special events for kids, and giveaways for everyone. The fun will start at 10:30 a.m. with an Earth Day Storytime and will continue until 2 p.m.

At 11 a.m., Magic Bob will take the stage to offer an Earth Day Magic show, mixing science, comedy, and magic to demonstrate how “going green” can be lots of fun. The magic show is geared towards kids ages 3-6 but is open to all.

Earth Day at the DL Public Library is made possible by Becker County Master Gardeners, Becker County Environmental Services, Creation Care FLC, Izaak Walton League, and
Tamarac Wildlife Refuge.
