Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Much of the state saw significant snowfall on Saturday, with as much as 16 inches being dumped on the North Shore.
Detroit Lakes reported 10 inches of new snowfall on Saturday and Sunday. Ottertail reported 6.7 inches, Verndale and Park Rapids had 12 inches of snow over the weekend, Sebeka reported 8.5 inches, 10.5 for Bemidji, six inches for Ashby, and ten inches for Nimrod.
Some areas along Lake Superior saw upwards of 15 inches of snowfall during the weekend’s storm. Areas of Duluth and Two Harbors reported up to 16 inches of snow. Meanwhile, most of the Twin Cities saw between two and four inches.
