Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – A Frazee man appeared in Becker County District Court on Wednesday, accused of threatening to shoot a Lakeshirts employee and her co-workers.
Court records state that police received a call from a Lakeshirts employee on Tuesday, January 17th reporting that an upset man had called her and “threatened to show up at her work and shoot her and her workplace.”
Police advised Lakeshirts to go into lockdown while officers located the suspect, later identified as 64-year-old Robert Allen Pary of rural Frazee. Pary was located by police and admitted he said he would “shoot up the place,” meaning Lakeshirts.
Pary appeared before District Judge Michelle W. Lawson in Becker County District Court on Wednesday and was charged with felony threats of violence, gross misdemeanor harassment, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Judge Lawson set Pary’s bond at $25,000 without any conditions, or cash bail at $500 or bond at $5,000, with conditions that include no contact with the victim, no trespassing at Lakeshirts, no use of drugs or alcohol, and no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons.
