Perham Health Earns Women’s Choice Award for Best Hospitals in the US

PERHAM (KDLM) – Perham Health has earned the 2023 Women’s Choice Award for 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience and Best Hospitals for Emergency Care in the U.S.

Using data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, only hospitals ranking in the top 10% nationwide are eligible for the award. HCAHPS is a nationally standardized instrument and data collection methodology for measuring patients’ perceptions of their hospital experience.

The award signifies that Perham Health ranked fifth out of 1,102 hospitals for patient experience, placing it on the 100 Best Hospital Award for 2023.

“I think our commitment to providing the best and safest care is evident with Perham Health receiving the prestigious Women’s Choice Award,” said Chuck Hofius, Perham Health CEO. “This award validates the tireless efforts our employees make to being patient-centered, clinically excellent, and dedicated to meeting the unique needs and preferences of patients and their families.”

In addition, for emergency care, Perham Health is in the top 9% of 4,729 U.S. hospitals.
