RUSH LAKE TOWNSHIP (KDLM) – A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle, Monday in Otter Tail County.
The incident occurred just after 6:30 p.m., Monday in Rush Lake Township when a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 32-year-old Dexter Brown, of Otter Tail, was traveling north on Highway 78. He struck a pedestrian walking in the lane, near Round Lake Loop just north of Otter Tail City.
Authorities say a 74-year-old male from Palisade, Minnesota, was struck and killed.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
