DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Another round of winter weather is expected across the region, Tuesday into Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says an upper level system will move east through the area Tuesday giving a period of snow starting late Monday night through Tuesday afternoon. Most areas will get an inch, with the chances for higher amounts of 2 inches to possibly as high as 5 inches.
As colder air moves in Tuesday late day and evening some blowing snow may occur which could create hazardous travel especially during morning and evening commutes. Wind chills on Tuesday and Wednesday AM in particular may range from the -20s to -30s.
