LITTLE FALLS, MN (KDLM) – The Perham Yellowjackets Girls Cross Country team finished third at the Lucky Lindy Invite in Little Falls on Thursday afternoon, and the Detroit Lakes Lakers finished 14th in the field of 18.
Perham was led by freshman Gracie Morris, who finished eighth overall with a time of 19:36.4. Senior Quincy Anderson was 21st with a time of 20:23.2, and eighth-grader Ella Hendrickson finished 23rd with a 20:25.2.
Detroit Lakes senior Julia Steffl paced the Lakers with a 26th place finish and a time of 20:34.5. Senior Maria Foltz and freshman Natalie Mohr finished 86th and 87th, respectively, with an identical time of 23:44.1.
Pequot Lakes junior Calia Cheney won the race with a time of 18:51.4. Staples-Motley had runners finish second (junior Kyanna Burton, 18:59.6) and third (freshman Audrey Brownell, 19:01.0). Alexandria won the meet with a team score of 87, Staples-Motley was second (93), and Perham finished third (111).
