LITTLE FALLS, MN (KDLM) – Perham sophomore Bjorn Anderson led the field at the Lucky Lindy Invitational in Little Falls, pacing the Yellowjackets Boys Cross Country team to a second-place finish in the 22-team field.
Anderson won the race with a time of 16:03.2, four seconds ahead of Monticello’s Noah Mahoney. Senior Micah Thompson finished sixth in the field with a 16:41.2. Heritage Christian Academy won the meet with a team score of 66. Perham finished second with a 112.
Senior Braydon Francis was the first Laker runner to cross the finish line with a 90th place finish overall and a time of 19:01.6. Senior Mark Carlson finished 122nd overall with a 19:45.6, and junior Micah Barberg finished 124th with a time of 19:52.3 as Detroit Lakes finished 22nd as a team.
