Interested In Becoming a Laker Booster? First Meeting Is Wednesday

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes Booster Club will hold its first fall season meeting at the Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes at noon on Wednesday, September 14th. The first meeting will feature fall sports coaches and seniors from Girls and Boys Soccer, Girls tennis, and football as well as participants in various spring state meets.

The Detroit Lakes Booster Club was organized in 1990 by community members with the goal of enhancing DLHS athletics. The Booster club helps support the 27 different varsity sports teams by assisting in providing funds for extra equipment.

The club is open to Laker sports fans who want to hear from and connect with players and coaches. Individuals can join the Laker Booster Club for $75 or can join one of three corporate-level memberships.
