WADENA (KDLM) – A house and garage received significant damage in Wadena Monday afternoon.
The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a house and garage fire, Monday, Sept. 5 around 4:14 p.m. When emergency personnel arrived on scene, the attached garage was fully engulfed in flames. The main part of the home received significant smoke and water damage during the firefighting effort.
Around 2:53 a.m. on Tuesday, firefighters were called back to the residence after the roof of the garage was on fire.
No one was home at the time of the fire, the cause is under investigation by the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
