LAKE PARK, MN (KDLM) – The Lake Park Audubon school district has been awarded a $52,000 grant from TEAM Industries to supply the district’s Steam Lab and Maker space.
The grant will provide equipment and materials to provide students in the LPA district with equipment and materials that will provide students with experiences in innovation, engineering, and entrepreneurism.
STEAM programs fill an important gap in education today. The acronym, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, combines subjects known to increase critical thinking and problem-solving skills through unique hands-on learning opportunities.
