(KNSI) — Another round of heat and humidity is developing for the weekend and into next week for Minnesota, according to the National Weather Service.
Hot and humid weather returns beginning Thursday. Dewpoints will start to rise, and high temps are expected to be in the upper 80s in central Minnesota. High temps could be kept down if predicted showers and thunderstorms develop for Friday and Saturday. Sunday, the sunshine returns with a high around 90, and into the 90s Monday.
One forecast model for the next two weeks shows the Upper Midwest, including Minnesota, will be above average through at least July 25th.
