Jake Owen to Perform Saturday for Detroit Mountain’s ‘Music on the Mountain’ Event

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Mountain’s annual Music on the Mountain fundraiser returns this Saturday with headliner, Jake Owen.

The annual music event is a fundraiser that supports capital improvements at Detroit Mountain Recreation Area. Past events have supported the build and expansion of the Landslide Tubing Park, adding an additional snow-making well to increase winter snow output, as well as paving the road into Detroit Mountain Recreation Area.

“We’re really excited to be able to draw that kind of name to our community,” said Megan Smith with Detroit Mountain. “It’s the biggest fundraiser we have throughout the year…there’s going to be tons of people out there, it’s going to be a huge, huge deal for us.”

Tickets can be purchased in advance at DetroitMountain.com and those who attend the concert can park at the M State parking lot with four free shuttles running from 5 p.m. until midnight.
