Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union to Host Free Shred Day

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A Lakes Area Credit Union will host a free Shred Day on Friday.

Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union is offering free shredding at their Detroit Lakes office on Friday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“Shredding documents that have your personal information is a great way to protect yourself from identity theft by keeping the wrong person from finding your social security number, financial account numbers, credit card numbers and any other valuable identifying data,” a press release stated.

Residents are asked to limit documents to three boxes. Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union is located at 1405 US Highway 10 West in Detroit Lakes.
