City Asks Residents to be Aware of House Move in Detroit Lakes, Tuesday

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lake’s residents are being asked to move vehicles, trailers and other items in the streets as crews move a house, Tuesday.

The city of Detroit Lakes says streets will not be closed during the move, but they do ask that the roadways are cleared throughout the afternoon.

The affected roadways include:

• East on East Shore Drive to US 10  
• Across US 10 to County Rd 54 to Randolph Rd
• Then 13^th Ave to 8^th St to 11^th Ave
• Central St to Roosevelt Ave to North Street then
• Hwy 34 E to Davis Ave to
• Elm Street to Washington Ave N then
• East on Dean Street to the destination

The move is scheduled to occur at 1 p.m., Tuesday.
