Construction on Highway 87 in Frazee to Begin Next Week

FRAZEE (KDLM) – Construction on Highway 87 in Frazee will begin next week.

High 87 will close between High 10 and Country Road 10/Juniper Avenue beginning Tuesday, May 31. Lane closures and Flaggers will occur in front of the Frazee High School between County Road 29/Birch Avenue and North River Drive.

The overall project will take place from the south side of Highway 10 to North River Drive, and includes resurfacing and reconstructing Highway 87, replacing city utilities, and improving pedestrian and bicycle access and accommodations.

Driveway access will be maintained throughout the duration of construction for local traffic. In areas with underground utility work or concrete, there may be some restrictions. The project is scheduled to be finished by October.
