Lakers Girls Golf Win Home Meet At Lakeview Golf Course, Knoop Finishes +4

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Laker Girls Golf Team hosted their first meet of the season with a four-team meet at Lakeview Golf Course (Par 64 course) on Friday.

Battling windy and rainy conditions, the Lakers finished first in the four-team invite with a team score of 307.

Sophomore Hanna Knoop was unaffected by the weather, finishing four over par 31/37/68 to win medalist honors. McKenna Mallow carded a 39/36/75 to finish in second place individually. Laura Syltie shot a 39/40/79, Sydney Miller finished with a 44/41/85, Tatum Getheridge shot a 42/44/86, and Maddie McDougall shot a 42/46/88.

The Lakers will travel to Moorhead next Tuesday to golf The Meadows at 8:00 am.
