True Story of King Isbit to be Told on Saturday

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The True Story of how King Isbit arrived in Detroit Lakes will be told this weekend during an olde tyme radio play.

Saturday at 10am local cast members will perform a play written by local playwright, Kendra Gilsdorf on the stage of the Historic Holmes Theatre which will be broadcast on KDLM and the Lakes Area Radio App.

The event, a part of Polar Fest is sponsored by the Lake Region Arts Council, DL Breakfast and Noon Rotary Clubs as well as Leighton Broadcasting.
