BRECKENRIDGE, MINN. (KFGO) – Breckenridge Police and Wilkin County Sheriff’s deputies who responded to a domestic violence call at a Breckenridge home found a man dead of a gunshot wound.
Police Chief Kris Karlgaard said there was an altercation between a husband and wife inside the house, located in the 400 block of 8th Street North. The call came in around 7 a.m. Wednesday. There’s been no arrest and there is no threat to the public.
The body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting in the investigation.
