DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A Frazee man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after being convicted of sexually abusing a teen girl.
Terry Harrison, 69, was convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct after a 13-year-old girl told the Becker County Sheriff’s Office that Harrison had been touching her since she was 6 or 7.
Harrison admitted to the victim’s mother in a recorded phone conversation saying it was the “only bad thing he has done his entire life.”
After serving his prison term, Harrison will be required to serve 10 years of conditional release. Harrison had faced up to 60 years in prison.
