WHITE EARTH (KDLM) – The White Earth RBC has announced the death of Kathy Goodwin, former White Earth RBC District II Representative. Representative Goodwin served White Earth from 2014 to 2021.
Goodwin was instrumental in establishing a DMV and exercising regulatory authority over motor vehicle registration and tribal license plates in the late 1990s in White Earth.
Goodwin passed away quietly in her home on Saturday, February 26, 2022. White Earth Chairman Michael Fairbanks said. “She will be greatly missed, and we pray for her family in this time.”
White Earth Reservation flags will be flown at half staff to honor Kathy and her service to the White Earth people
