DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Relief from bitterly cold temperatures and winter storms this week will be brief with the possibility of a significant winter storm this weekend.
The National Weather Service says a winter storm may impact the Lakes Area this Saturday and Sunday. Accumulating snow and gusty winds are likely, however the exact timing and locations of the heaviest snowfall are still uncertain.
Forecasters are encouraging Lakes Area residents and travelers to begin to monitor the forecast and consider preparation for the risk of winter weather.
