OTTER TAIL (KDLM) – Officers responded to a fatal accident involving a pickup truck and a train on Thursday, Feb. 4.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s office says a pickup truck was struck by a northbound train around 8:48am at a railroad crossing on 308th St., SouthEast of Otter Tail County.
The truck was struck on the passenger side and the driver sustained fatal injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
The name of the driver, a 60 year-old male who resided in the rural Ottertail City area has not been released.
