DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Six Lakes Area boxers became State Champions over the weekend.
Lakes Area Boxing competed in the Silver Gloves State Tournament. Kyla Schatz, became the 15-16 year old 125lb champ. Aiden Bymers 100lb 14-15 year old champ. Glen Sommers JR 13-14yr old 119lb champ, Dalton Bymers 95lb 13-14 year old champ, Talan Baker 90lb 13-14 year old champ, and Quinton Hedlund 75lb 9-10 year old state champ.
Silver Gloves is an advancing amateur boxing competition for 10 to 15 year old youth.
