HAWLEY (KDLM) – Hawley elementary students helped “Fill the Yetti” with more than 2,000 lbs of food for the Hawley Food Pantry.

Students at the school collected nonperishable food items over the last several weeks. The food was then put into a Yetti brand fish house from J&K Marine and transported to the Pantry.

In total, students raised 2,149 pounds of food in an effort to ensure everyone in the Lakes Area is able to receive a holiday meal this year. “Fill the Yetti” is an annual event hosted by Leighton Broadcasting, J&K Marine and Builders FirstSource.
