Driver Flees Crash Near Lake Melissa

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A crash Friday, resulted in one driver fleeing the scene near Lake Melissa.

The State Patrol says a Toyota Tundra struck a Chevy Silvarado as the Chevy attempted to cross Highway 59 on Lake Melissa Drive, Friday around 10:30 p.m. The Toyota spun out and the Chevy went into the ditch.

The driver of the Chevy then fled the scene and has not yet been identified.
