DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes Lakers opened their Wrestling duals at home to the DGF Rebels Friday night.
The Rebels got off to a 12-0 lead, before Cole Weber got the Lakers first win with a 1-0 victory at 132. The Lakers ran off 22 straight points on their way to a 22-12 lead. Each teams traded pins from 160 thru 195.
In the end DGF Rebels won the last three weight classes, to come from a 28-18 deficit, to get a 33-28 victory.
Detroit Lakes is at Bemidji on December 16 at 7:30pm on KRCQ.
