HAWLEY (KDLM) – The Hawley Nuggets shutout Frazee in the Section 8AA Quarterfinals, Tuesday.
Frazee had a good start to the first drive, but stalled; the Nuggets eventually got on the board in the first quarter. Hawley added two more scores in the first half to take a 21-0 lead into halftime.
The Nuggets scored on the first drive of the second half en route to a 36-0 victory. Sam Burkel, Carson Brew and Derrick Tibbets each scored twice. Ethan Magnussen was the Muscatell Burns Ford MVP.
Hawley advances to take on #2 seed Pelican Rapids on Saturday at 2pm on KRCQ.
