Lakes Area Women’s Expo Today at Boys & Girls Club

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – After being postponed due to rain, the Lakes Area Women’s Expo Presented by Essentia Health will happen today at the Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes.

The event will be held from 2-7pm at the Boys & Girls Club; tickets are available at the door for five dollars.

“We have close to 50 vendors this year,” said Aimee Issendorf one of the event organizers. “It’s an assortment of businesses that provide local services, to businesses that own boutiques, gyms – we have a really good mix of vendors and they’re not all local either. There will be a lot of shopping opportunities.”

The annual shopping event features a variety of vendors, live music, wine, beer and spirits as well as giveaways.
