Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier is back on the practice court, taking another step toward her first game action of the season.
The team announced Wednesday that Collier returned to practice and team activities as she continues rehabbing from surgeries on both ankles. The Lynx say she’s progressing as expected, though no timetable has been set for her season debut.
Collier hasn’t played this year after Minnesota signed her to a new deal in April. She earned All-WNBA honors last season and finished as the league’s MVP runner-up.
Minnesota has won five of its last six games and heads to Brooklyn to face the New York Liberty on Friday.
