Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins go for a three-game sweep of the Texas Rangers this afternoon at Globe Life Field, with first pitch set for 1:35 p.m.
Minnesota has taken the first two games of the series, beating Texas 4-2 on Monday and rolling 12-2 on Tuesday. There was no game Wednesday, with the series taking a day off as the World Cup match between England and Croatia played out at neighboring AT&T Stadium. England won that one 4-2.
Right-hander Joe Ryan gets the ball for the Twins this afternoon. Minnesota sits third in the AL Central at 35-40.
