Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Minnesota Vikings fans can start blocking out their August calendar.

The team announced its 2026 training camp schedule on Monday, with 13 practices open to the public at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan. That is a notable jump from last year, when just eight practices were open to fans.

The first practice open to the public lands on Saturday, August 1st, billed as “Back Together Weekend: Saturday Edition.” This year the team is folding its Legends Weekend into the festivities, with former Vikings on hand alongside Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders and SKOL Line performances, player autographs, and other activities. Gates open at noon, with practice set for 2:30 p.m.

The first padded practice is scheduled for Monday, August 3rd, with daily sessions running through the first half of the month. The team’s popular night practice returns Sunday, August 9th, at 7:00 p.m. at TCO Stadium.

Camp wraps with two joint practices against the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday, August 19th and Thursday, August 20th, the final open session of the year. Those days will also feature youth football clinics and autograph opportunities.

General admission tickets for 12 of the 13 practices are free for season ticket members and children 36 inches and under, $5 for children 17 and younger, and $10 for adults. The night practice carries separate pricing of $15 for adults and $10 for children 17 and younger.

Season ticket members can reserve tickets starting Tuesday, June 16th at 10:00 a.m., with general public sales opening Thursday, June 18th at 10:00 a.m. Reservations can be made at vikings.com/camp.

The expanded slate gives fans an early look at a quarterback competition between J.J. McCarthy and Kyler Murray, expected to be the central storyline of camp.

In other team news, the Purple continue their last week of OTAs.
