Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins rallied for a 5-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday at Target Field, taking the rubber match of the weekend series.
Royce Lewis tied the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning, and Ryan Kreidler followed with a go-ahead double in the eighth to put Minnesota ahead for good. Victor Caratini also homered in the win.
Andrew Morris picked up his second win in relief.
The Twins improve to 33-40 and sit in third place in the AL Central. They open a series against the Rangers tonight in Texas.
